Per Show

Per show refers to any cost or payment calculated on a per-performance basis — as opposed to weekly rates, flat tour fees, or daily costs. Many touring expenses and crew payments are structured per show.

Per-show costs

Common per-show expenses include local crew (load-in and load-out hands), backline rental on fly dates, ground transport, catering, venue rental, and various production costs. Per-show expenses are tracked against the tour budget and reconciled during settlement.

Per-show crew payments

Some touring crew are paid per show rather than a weekly salary — common for substitutes, specialty technicians, or crew on shorter tour runs. Per-show rates are negotiated before the tour and factor into the overall tour budget.
