After Show

After show refers to the period and activities immediately following a performance. The artist is typically getting showered and out of their wardrobe. They might have an after-show meet & greet. After-show food for the band and crew is usually ordered so it's ready when they come off stage. Meanwhile, the tour manager handles settlement, and the crew begins load-out. It's also a credential type: an "After Show" pass grants backstage access only after the performance ends.

What happens after the show

The artist comes off stage and heads to the dressing room or green room. After-show catering (specified in the hospitality rider) is available. Meet & greets or industry schmoozing may happen. Meanwhile, the tour manager settles with the promoter, the merch team counts inventory, and the crew begins load-out. The bus call clock is ticking.

After Show credentials

An After Show pass is deliberately limited — it only works after the performance, keeping the backstage area clear of extra people during the working day. It's commonly given to industry guests, friends of the band, and contest winners who get a post-show backstage visit.
