Production Assistant / Production Coordinator

A production assistant (PA) supports the production manager with logistics, paperwork, and communication. A production coordinator typically has more experience and autonomy than a PA — they may handle portions of the production advance, coordinate local crew, manage production budgets, and communicate directly with vendors and venues.

What they handle

Depending on the tour, production assistants and coordinators manage equipment inventories, road case tracking, local crew call sheets, production expense reports, and vendor coordination. They may also assist with hospitality rider negotiation and day-of-show logistics.
