Star Coach
A star coach is a luxury tour bus designed for the artist or principal — the opposite of a crew bus. Where a crew bus is a standard 12-bunk sleeper, a star coach typically features a private bedroom in the back, fewer bunks (for a smaller A Party traveling group), slide-outs for extra living space, and premium amenities.
What makes a star coach different
Private bedroom (often with a full bed rather than a bunk), upgraded lounge areas, sometimes a shower, higher-end finishes and furnishings, and a layout designed for comfort rather than maximum capacity. Star coaches prioritize privacy and space — the artist can close the bedroom door and have genuine separation from the rest of the bus.
Star coach vs. crew bus
The star coach is for the A Party. The crew bus is for the C Party. The difference is comfort vs. capacity — a star coach might sleep 4-6 people in relative luxury, while a crew bus sleeps 12 in standard bunks.
